- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/3 cup ketchup, divided
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, finely chopped onion, milk, 2 tablespoons of the ketchup, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until just combined.
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Shape the meat mixture into a compact loaf and place it in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 20 minutes at 360°F.
- Spread the remaining ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
- Cook for another 5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Do not overmix the meat mixture, or the texture may become dense.
- Let the meatloaf rest before slicing so it holds together better.
- You can prepare the mixture ahead of time and refrigerate it until ready to cook.
