Description

A creamy, tangy, and mildly spicy Peruvian green sauce made from fresh herbs, chili peppers, and yogurt or mayonnaise. A perfect accompaniment for grilled meats, veggies, and more!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 green chili peppers (jalapeños or aji amarillo), seeded
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise or plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
