Description

These almond flour chocolate brownies are rich, fudgy, and naturally gluten-free. Sweetened with maple syrup and packed with dark chocolate, they’re the perfect healthier indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. Let cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use room-temperature eggs to prevent the coconut oil from hardening.
  • Don’t overbake — the center should still look slightly soft.
  • Add extra chocolate chips on top before baking for a gooey finish.
