- 2 flatbreads or naan
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (plus more for drizzling)
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or chopped
- 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Brush flatbreads lightly with olive oil and place on a baking sheet.
- Spread barbecue sauce evenly over each flatbread.
- Top with shredded chicken, red onions, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese.
- Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are golden.
- Remove from oven, drizzle with extra barbecue sauce, and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
- Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker prep time.
- Swap red onion for green onions or pickled onions for variation.
- Add sliced jalapeños for a spicy kick.
- Can also be cooked in an air fryer or toaster oven.
