- 1 pound thinly sliced beef
- 1 large red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large green bell pepper, sliced
- 4 cups cooked white rice
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil.
- Sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef in a single layer. Cook until browned on both sides.
- Add bell peppers and stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Sprinkle in chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Toss well to combine.
- Serve over bowls of hot white rice and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Use flank or sirloin beef for the best texture.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan. Cook in batches if needed.
- Add chili flakes for a spicy kick.
- Leftovers make great wraps or lunch bowls.
