Description

This warm and cozy Berry French Toast Casserole is a baked breakfast classic made with buttery brioche, juicy berries, and rich cream cheese. Perfect for brunch or make-ahead mornings.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf brioche bread, cubed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla, sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Add cubed brioche to the baking dish, scatter with cream cheese cubes and half the berries.
  4. Pour the custard mixture over the bread and press lightly to soak.
  5. Top with remaining berries and let sit for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  6. Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and set. Cover with foil if browning too quickly.
  7. Let cool 10 minutes before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
