This Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Casserole is a cozy, golden-baked dish layered with fluffy biscuit pieces, savory sausage gravy, eggs, and melted cheddar cheese. Perfect for weekend brunch or make-ahead breakfast.

  • 1 (16-ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into quarters
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until gravy thickens. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Remove from heat.
  4. Evenly layer biscuit dough pieces in the bottom of the prepared dish.
  5. Pour sausage gravy over the biscuits.
  6. In a bowl, beat the eggs, then pour them evenly over the casserole.
  7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 35–40 minutes until set and golden. Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
