- 1 scoop (30 grams) vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/3 cup whole milk
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, protein powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and garlic powder.
- Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, milk, and egg until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently mix until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape into biscuits. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
