Description

These Breakfast Sliders with Sausage, Egg, and Cheese are a savory and satisfying way to start your day. They combine buttery rolls with hearty sausage, fluffy eggs, and melty cheddar for a perfect grab-and-go breakfast!


Ingredients

  • 1 package (12) dinner rolls or slider buns
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the breakfast sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Pour the mixture into a nonstick skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until soft scrambled.
  5. Slice the rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased 9×13 casserole dish.
  6. Layer the cooked sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheddar cheese on the bottom halves.
  7. Add the tops of the rolls back on and brush with melted butter.
  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the tops are toasted and the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from oven, cut into individual sliders, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier twist, use pepper jack cheese instead of cheddar.
  • Make these in advance and refrigerate; just reheat in the oven or microwave.
  • Add diced peppers or onions to the eggs for additional flavor.
