Description

Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these broccoli cheese balls are packed with flavor and melted goodness, making them the perfect snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups finely chopped broccoli
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine chopped broccoli, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add eggs and mix until the mixture is well combined.
  4. Lightly grease the parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  5. Scoop small portions and roll into evenly sized balls.
  6. Place the balls on the baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Finely chop the broccoli for better texture.
  • Use freshly shredded cheese for best melting results.
  • Flip halfway through baking for extra crispiness.
  • Chill the mixture if it feels too soft to shape.
