Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp bourbon
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

- Add the eggs, bourbon, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in the salt and flour until just combined—do not overmix.
- Fold in the pecans and chocolate chunks.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
Notes
- Toast the pecans beforehand for extra flavor.
- Use high-quality bourbon and chocolate for the best results.
- These blondies taste even better the next day!
