Description

A cozy, spiced espresso drink topped with sweet, fluffy cold foam, perfect for mornings or midday treats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso (about 2 ounces)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cold whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • A handful of ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your espresso machine or Moka pot.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, stir together brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla until dissolved into a syrup. Set aside.
  3. Brew the espresso and pour it over ice in your serving glass.
  4. Stir the brown sugar cinnamon syrup into the espresso.
  5. In a separate cup, mix cold milk and cream, then froth using a milk frother or whisk until thick and foamy.
  6. Spoon the cold foam over the espresso.
  7. Dust with a pinch of cinnamon and serve.

Notes

  • Use freshly brewed espresso for a bold flavor.
  • Chill your milk and cream before frothing for best foam.
  • Store extra syrup in the fridge for up to 5 days.
