- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup toffee bits (like Heath Bits O’ Brickle)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until fully combined.
- Fold in butterscotch chips and toffee bits.
- Spread the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
- Cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.
Notes
- For extra texture, sprinkle extra toffee bits on top before baking.
- Bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days or frozen for longer storage.
- Try mixing in chopped pecans or walnuts for added crunch.
