- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
- Add diced onion and red pepper to the ground beef and cook for 3-5 minutes until tender.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, paprika, and cooked rice. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Transfer mixture into a greased 9×13 casserole dish.
- Top evenly with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Add a handful of chopped green onions or diced tomatoes for additional color and flavor.
