Description

Cheddar-Crusted Ground Beef and Rice Casserole is a hearty, savory meal made with seasoned ground beef, rice, and veggies, all topped with a crispy cheddar cheese layer. It’s perfect for a comforting family dinner!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add diced onion and red pepper to the ground beef and cook for 3-5 minutes until tender.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, paprika, and cooked rice. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer mixture into a greased 9×13 casserole dish.
  6. Top evenly with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
