Description

Soft and fluffy garlic knots filled with melted cheese, brushed with rich garlic butter and topped with parmesan and fresh parsley.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy.
  3. Add flour, salt, and melted butter. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Transfer dough to an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size.
  5. Divide dough into portions, flatten each piece, add mozzarella, then fold and shape into knots.
  6. Place knots on baking sheet and bake for 15 to 18 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Mix melted butter with minced garlic, brush over warm knots, then sprinkle parmesan and parsley.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Do not overfill with cheese to prevent leaking.
  • Let the dough rise fully for a soft texture.
  • Brush garlic butter while knots are warm for best flavor.
