Description

A comforting, hearty Cheeseburger Pie packed with seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar, and a golden biscuit-style crust. Perfect for busy weeknights or cozy family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef and onions over medium heat until cooked. Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in 1 cup of cheddar and remove from heat.
  3. Spread beef mixture evenly in the prepared pie dish.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together Bisquick, milk, and eggs until smooth. Pour over beef mixture.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until top is golden and set. Inserted toothpick should come out clean.
  6. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese on top and bake 2–3 minutes more until melted.
  7. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Let the pie rest before slicing to help it set.
  • Use freshly shredded cheese for better melt and flavor.
  • Add chopped pickles or ketchup for a burger twist.
