- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a skillet, brown ground beef and onions over medium heat until cooked. Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in 1 cup of cheddar and remove from heat.
- Spread beef mixture evenly in the prepared pie dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together Bisquick, milk, and eggs until smooth. Pour over beef mixture.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until top is golden and set. Inserted toothpick should come out clean.
- Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese on top and bake 2–3 minutes more until melted.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Let the pie rest before slicing to help it set.
- Use freshly shredded cheese for better melt and flavor.
- Add chopped pickles or ketchup for a burger twist.
