Description

Golden, flaky pastry rolls filled with tender chicken, creamy cheese, and fresh courgette. These savory bites are perfect for brunch, snacks, or easy dinners.

  • 1 ½ cups cooked chicken breast, finely chopped
  • 1 medium courgette (zucchini), grated and squeezed dry
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 large puff pastry sheet, thawed
  • 1 egg yolk, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the chopped chicken, grated courgette, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Lay the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface or parchment paper.
  4. Spread the filling evenly across the pastry, leaving a small border. Roll it up tightly like a log and slice into 1.5-inch pieces.
  5. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with egg yolk.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden and puffed. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
