- 14 ounces smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the potatoes, smoked sausage, diced onion, and minced garlic.
- Add olive oil, melted butter, ranch seasoning mix, salt, and black pepper, then toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Grease a large baking dish and spread the mixture evenly inside.
- Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top, and return to the oven.
- Bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
