Description
Cheesy Taco Beef Linguine is a comforting fusion of Tex-Mex flavors and Italian pasta, combining tender ground beef, creamy cheese, and bold taco spices with silky linguine noodles for a dish that’s both satisfying and easy to make.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 12 ounces dry linguine pasta
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes with juices
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Your Equipment: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Combine Ingredients: Add ground beef and onion. Cook until beef is browned and onions are soft, about 6–8 minutes. Add garlic and taco seasoning, cook 1 more minute.
- Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: In a separate pot, boil salted water and cook linguine until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Assemble the Dish: Stir diced tomatoes and cream cheese into the beef. Cook until cream cheese is melted and smooth.
- Cook to Perfection: Add drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Finishing Touches: Stir in shredded cheddar cheese off heat, then add parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve and Enjoy: Dish into bowls and garnish as desired. Serve hot.
Notes
- Use pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.
- Swap beef for turkey or plant-based crumbles for variation.
- Great for meal prep and leftovers — flavor deepens overnight.
