- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 package (6 oz) boxed stuffing mix
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in the shredded chicken until evenly coated.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix the stuffing mix with melted butter and chicken broth until moistened.
- Spread the stuffing mixture over the chicken layer.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
