Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 package (6 oz) boxed stuffing mix
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Fold in the shredded chicken until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the baking dish.
  5. In another bowl, mix the stuffing mix with melted butter and chicken broth until moistened.
  6. Spread the stuffing mixture over the chicken layer.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
