Description

Crispy, golden, and flavorful chicken bites that are perfect for a quick snack or appetizer. These tender pieces of chicken are seasoned and coated for the perfect crunch in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Ranch dressing or dipping sauce (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.
  3. In a third shallow bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Dip each chicken piece first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally into the panko mixture, pressing gently to coat evenly.
  5. Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the chicken pieces in batches, cooking for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Transfer the chicken bites to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce, if desired.

Notes

  • You can also bake these chicken bites in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, for a healthier option.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the flour mixture for a bit of heat.
  • These chicken bites can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
