- 4 chicken cutlets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons capers
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, and pepper. Coat each chicken cutlet lightly.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and heat until shimmering.
- Cook chicken for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter, add garlic, then pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Let simmer.
- Add capers and return chicken to the pan. Cook until sauce thickens slightly.
- Add lemon slices and sprinkle parsley before serving.
