- 4 chicken cutlets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 fresh lemons, juiced and sliced
- 3 tablespoons capers
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Mix flour, salt, and black pepper in a shallow bowl.
- Dredge each chicken cutlet in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Place chicken in the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add butter and garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers, then let simmer.
- Return chicken to the pan and coat with the sauce.
- Garnish with parsley and lemon slices, then serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
- Do not overcrowd the pan when cooking the chicken.
- Adjust lemon and capers to taste.
