- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Using a spoon or cookie scoop, form dough into sticks about 4 inches long and 1 inch wide, placing them on the baking sheet with space in between.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until edges are golden and centers are set.
- Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
