- 1 cup crushed graham crackers or chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream or milk
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix crushed graham crackers (or cookie crumbs) with melted butter until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottoms of muffin liners or silicone cups to form the base. Chill in the fridge while preparing the filling.
- In another bowl, mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Spoon the peanut butter mixture over the chilled crust and smooth the tops.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and cream together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
- Chill the dessert cups in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or until set.
- Once set, remove from liners and serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- You can use mini muffin tins for bite-sized portions.
- Top with a sprinkle of sea salt, crushed peanuts, or mini chocolate chips for extra texture and flavor.
