Description

A soft and moist banana bread with a golden crust and rich banana flavor, perfect for breakfast, snacking, or an easy homemade treat.


Ingredients

  • 3 medium ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until mostly smooth.
  3. Mix in the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Lightly grease a standard loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  5. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the wet mixture, then fold gently until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top lightly.
  7. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a cooling rack.
  9. Slice and serve slightly warm or at room temperature.
