- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped green beans
- 1/4 cup green peas
- 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup sweet corn kernels
- 1/4 cup finely chopped spring onions
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Salt to taste
- 4 cups water
Instructions
- Set a pot over medium heat and let it warm up.
- Add a splash of oil and sauté minced garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until aromatic.
- Add chopped carrots, beans, peas, corn, cabbage, and spring onions. Stir for 2–3 minutes.
- Pour in 4 cups of water and let it simmer uncovered for 10–12 minutes until vegetables are tender yet crisp.
- Stir in soy sauce, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Adjust to taste.
- Garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
Notes
- Do not overcook vegetables to maintain texture and color.
- Add lemon juice just before serving for a refreshing finish.
- A pinch of chili flakes can add a gentle kick.
- Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days and reheat gently before serving.
