This Copycat Sweetgreen Hot Honey Chicken Plate combines tender roasted chicken, spicy-sweet hot honey sauce, and wholesome grains and veggies for a flavorful, healthy meal inspired by the popular restaurant dish.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup cooked brown rice or wild rice
- 1 cup roasted sweet potatoes, diced
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup pickled onions
- 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
- Hot Honey Sauce:
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast chicken for 20-25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let rest, then slice.
- While the chicken roasts, whisk together honey, hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar to make the hot honey sauce.
- In a bowl or plate, layer cooked rice, roasted sweet potatoes, shredded cabbage, and pickled onions.
- Top with sliced chicken and drizzle generously with hot honey sauce.
- Sprinkle feta cheese and sunflower seeds over the top.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Swap brown rice with quinoa or farro for variety.
- Adjust the heat level by adding more or less hot sauce to the honey.
