Description

Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Salmon is a luxurious seafood dish featuring tender salmon fillets generously filled with a creamy, savory mixture of crab, shrimp, and herbs — perfect for a special dinner or a date night at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless, about 6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup cooked crab meat
  • 1/2 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Lemon slices and fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine crab meat, chopped shrimp, cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic, parsley, and Old Bay seasoning. Mix until smooth and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cut a slit lengthwise down the center of each salmon fillet to create a pocket, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  4. Stuff each pocket generously with the crab and shrimp mixture, pressing it in gently to hold.
  5. Brush the tops of the salmon fillets with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  6. Place the stuffed salmon on the prepared baking sheet or dish and bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fresh or canned crab and pre-cooked shrimp for quicker prep.
  • Pair with a side of garlic mashed potatoes, rice pilaf, or steamed asparagus for a complete meal.
  • You can substitute Greek yogurt for mayo for a lighter version.
