Ingredients
- Croissants: 4 large, day-old
- Cream Cheese: 8 ounces, softened
- Powdered Sugar: 1/4 cup
- Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
- Heavy Cream: 2 tablespoons
- Hot Honey: 1/4 cup, plus more for drizzling
- Unsalted Butter: 2 tablespoons, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream. Beat until fluffy and fully combined.
- Slice croissants horizontally, keeping one edge intact. Lightly brush the tops with melted butter.
- Pipe or spoon the cream filling into each croissant generously. Place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden and slightly warm inside.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with hot honey while warm.
- Serve immediately with an extra drizzle if desired.
Notes
- Use day-old croissants for best results.
- Warm hot honey slightly before drizzling.
- Let croissants cool briefly before drizzling to help honey soak in better.
- Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in an oven, not microwave.
