Ingredients
- Puff Pastry Sheets: 1 sheet, thawed
- Brie Cheese: 6 ounces, rind removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- Cranberry Sauce: ½ cup, homemade or store-bought
- Chopped Pecans: ¼ cup, optional
- Fresh Thyme: 1 teaspoon, finely chopped
- Egg: 1 large, beaten (optional for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
- Cut the brie into small cubes and set aside. Stir cranberry sauce if chunky.
- Unfold the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 2.5-inch squares. Gently press into muffin tin cavities.
- Place a cube of brie in each pastry cup. Top with ½ tsp cranberry sauce, a sprinkle of pecans, and thyme.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Let cool slightly, drizzle with honey if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use cold puff pastry for best results.
- Don’t overfill to avoid spills.
- Fresh herbs like rosemary can be substituted for thyme.
- Brie rind can be kept or removed based on preference.
