- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add warm milk, butter, and egg, then knead until a soft dough forms.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Add chicken, curry powder, coconut milk, salt, and pepper. Cook until thick and creamy, then let it cool.
- Divide the dough, flatten each piece, add filling, and seal into buns.
- Place buns on the tray, let them rise again for 20 minutes.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until golden.
- Brush with butter after baking and let cool slightly before serving.
