Description

Creamy Chipotle Burrito Sauce is a smoky, tangy, and slightly spicy condiment made with chipotle peppers in adobo, mayo, and sour cream. Perfect for drizzling on burritos, tacos, bowls, or as a dipping sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 12 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (adjust to spice preference)
  • 1 tbsp adobo sauce (from the chipotle can)
  • 1 tsp lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Place mayonnaise, sour cream, chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, lime juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust salt and spice level as needed.
  4. Transfer to a jar or squeeze bottle and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
  5. Use as a sauce for burritos, tacos, bowls, sandwiches, or as a dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For a thinner sauce, add 1–2 tablespoons of milk or water until desired consistency is reached.
