Description

A luxurious pasta dish featuring tender lobster meat in a rich and creamy tomato sauce, perfect for an elegant dinner.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine or fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Fresh Parmesan cheese for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and shallot and sauté until fragrant and softened, about 2–3 minutes.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and red pepper flakes if using. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the lobster meat and cook gently for 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce until well coated.
  7. Stir in fresh basil just before serving.
  8. Serve topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

  • Use fresh lobster for best flavor, but cooked or frozen lobster works well.
  • Add a splash of white wine to the sauce for extra depth.
  • Pair with a crisp white wine and a simple green salad.
