- 8 oz linguine or fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small shallot, finely chopped
- 1 cup crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Fresh Parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and shallot and sauté until fragrant and softened, about 2–3 minutes.
- Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and red pepper flakes if using. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the lobster meat and cook gently for 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce until well coated.
- Stir in fresh basil just before serving.
- Serve topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
- Use fresh lobster for best flavor, but cooked or frozen lobster works well.
- Add a splash of white wine to the sauce for extra depth.
- Pair with a crisp white wine and a simple green salad.
