Description

These Crispy Fried S’mores Bombs are a fun twist on the classic campfire treat, featuring gooey marshmallows and melted chocolate wrapped in dough, fried until golden, and rolled in cinnamon sugar.


Ingredients

  • 8 large marshmallows
  • 8 small pieces of milk chocolate
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit or crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Flatten each biscuit or crescent roll dough piece slightly.
  2. Place one marshmallow and one piece of chocolate in the center of the dough. Wrap and seal tightly to form a ball.
  3. Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry the dough balls in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, turning occasionally for even cooking.
  5. Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  6. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Roll the warm fried bombs in the mixture until fully coated.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy the gooey center!

Notes

  • Ensure the dough is sealed tightly to prevent marshmallow from leaking during frying.
  • Can be baked at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes for a lighter version.
