Crispy Tofu and Veggie Patties are a delicious plant-based option packed with protein and vibrant vegetables. These golden patties are perfect for a healthy snack, appetizer, or main dish served with your favorite dipping sauce.

- 14 oz firm tofu, pressed and crumbled
- 1 cup grated carrot
- 1/2 cup finely chopped bell pepper
- 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (use gluten-free if needed)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine crumbled tofu, grated carrot, bell pepper, green onions, cilantro, and garlic.
- Add breadcrumbs, soy sauce, sesame oil, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. If the mixture is too wet, add more breadcrumbs.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry patties for 4–5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or in a sandwich.
Notes
- Press tofu well to remove excess moisture for better texture.
- These patties can be baked at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Add chili flakes or hot sauce to the mixture for a spicy kick.
