Crock Pot Angel Beef Casserole is a comforting, slow-cooked dish made with layers of seasoned ground beef, tender pasta, creamy cheese, and rich tomato sauce — perfect for a hearty family meal.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or spaghetti sauce
- 8 oz angel hair pasta, cooked and drained
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and cook chopped onion and garlic until softened.
- Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese and sour cream.
- Spray the inside of the crock pot with cooking spray.
- Layer half of the cooked angel hair pasta in the crock pot.
- Spread half of the cheese mixture over the pasta.
- Add half of the meat sauce, then sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella.
- Repeat layers: pasta, cheese mixture, meat sauce, mozzarella.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours.
- Let stand for 10 minutes before serving for easier slicing.
Notes
- Angel hair pasta can be substituted with spaghetti or fettuccine if preferred.
- Add crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Use ricotta instead of cottage cheese for a smoother texture.
