- 1 1/2 pounds beef flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
- Place sliced beef in the crockpot and pour the sauce mixture over it, stirring to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours until beef is tender.
- In the last 30 minutes, stir in broccoli and cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
- Serve over hot rice and garnish with sliced green onions.
