Description

Cumin Lamb Noodles is a flavorful dish featuring tender lamb sautéed with aromatic cumin and spices, served over soft noodles for a comforting and savory meal inspired by Middle Eastern and Central Asian cuisines.


Ingredients

  • 300g ground lamb
  • 200g egg noodles or wheat noodles
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground lamb, breaking it apart with a spoon, cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Stir in ground cumin, chili flakes if using, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2–3 minutes to blend flavors.
  5. Toss cooked noodles into the lamb mixture and stir to combine well.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley before serving.
