Description

Deliciously spiced and crispy chicken patties inspired by Pakistani bakery flavors, perfect as a snack or party appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 500g minced chicken
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine minced chicken, chopped onion, green chilies, coriander, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, cumin, and salt.
  2. Add the egg and breadcrumbs, mix well to form a smooth mixture.
  3. Shape the mixture into small, round patties.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the patties until golden brown and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with chutney or ketchup.

Notes

  • Adjust spice levels according to your taste preference.
  • For a healthier option, bake the patties at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Serve with mint chutney or tamarind sauce for authentic flavor.
