Description

A quick and delicious grilled shrimp boil featuring shrimp, corn, sausage, and potatoes, all tossed in flavorful seasonings and grilled to perfection. Perfect for a casual outdoor feast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 ears of corn, cut into halves or thirds
  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Optional: lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Prepare a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil or a grill-safe pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Add the shrimp, corn, sausage, and potatoes to the bowl, tossing everything to coat evenly in the seasoning mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture onto the foil or into the grill-safe pan. Seal the foil or cover the pan with another piece of foil.
  5. Grill the packet for 15–20 minutes, shaking occasionally to ensure even cooking, until the shrimp are cooked through, the corn is tender, and the potatoes are soft.
  6. Carefully open the foil or pan (watch out for steam). Serve the grilled shrimp boil immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.

Notes

  • If you prefer a spicier version, add some cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the seasoning mix.
  • This dish can be made on a grill or in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for the same time.
  • You can substitute the sausage with andouille sausage for a smokier flavor.
