This easy skillet lasagna delivers all the comforting, cheesy layers of traditional lasagna in a single pan and half the time. Perfect for busy weeknights or cozy weekends.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Break lasagna noodles into pieces and nestle into the sauce. Add ½ cup water.
- Cover and simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
- Dollop ricotta over the top, sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan, then cover and cook for another 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Let the lasagna sit for 5 minutes before serving for easier scooping.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
- Use freshly grated cheese for best melt and flavor.
