Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into chunks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, season chicken pieces with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter, honey, and cinnamon. Stir until melted and combined.
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the butter sauce. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or rolls.
Notes
- Use chicken thighs for a juicier version.
- Adjust the amount of honey and cinnamon to taste if you prefer it more or less sweet.
- Pairs well with roasted vegetables or a side salad.
- Double the sauce if serving over pasta or rice.
