Description

A creamy, comforting tuna casserole made with tender pasta, savory tuna, and a rich cheesy sauce, topped with a golden crispy breadcrumb layer.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups dry pasta
  • 2 cans canned tuna, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  2. Cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine pasta, tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, chopped onion, salt, black pepper, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Top with remaining cheese, breadcrumbs, and drizzle melted butter over the top.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
