A luxurious yet simple toast topped with creamy burrata, fresh figs, honey, and crunchy pistachios. This elegant dish brings together sweet, savory, and creamy flavors for a perfect bite.

Ingredients

  • Sourdough Bread: 4 slices
  • Fresh Burrata Cheese: 8 ounces
  • Fresh Figs: 6 to 8, sliced
  • Honey: 2 tablespoons
  • Crushed Pistachios: 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh Thyme Leaves: 1 teaspoon
  • Olive Oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Sea Salt: A pinch

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill pan or toaster oven to medium-high, or preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix crushed pistachios and thyme. Set aside.
  3. Brush bread slices with olive oil and toast until golden and crispy, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Spread burrata over warm toast slices. Arrange sliced figs on top.
  5. Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with the pistachio-thyme mix, and add a pinch of sea salt.
  6. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Use day-old bread for best crunch.
  • Let burrata sit at room temperature before using.
  • Don’t overload the toast to keep flavor balance.
