Description

Frito Bars are a sweet and salty treat made with crispy Fritos, rich peanut butter, and a buttery caramel-like mixture. They’re a perfect blend of texture and flavor — crispy, creamy, sweet, and salty!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag (10.5 oz) Fritos corn chips
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Pour Fritos into a greased 9×13 pan and spread evenly.
  2. Combine corn syrup and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil.
  3. Remove from heat and immediately stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  4. Pour mixture evenly over Fritos in the pan.
  5. Let Frito Bars cool completely, then cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For a rich twist, you can drizzle melted chocolate on top.
  • Consider adding chopped nuts or M&Ms for texture and color.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
