Description

Ingredients

  • Sirloin Steak: 1.5 pounds, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • Russet Potatoes: 2 pounds, peeled and chopped
  • Garlic Cloves: 5, minced
  • Unsalted Butter: 6 tablespoons, divided
  • Fresh Parsley: 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
  • Heavy Cream: 1/2 cup, warmed
  • Olive Oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon, plus more to taste
  • Black Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon, freshly ground
  • Fresh Thyme: 1 teaspoon, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Season steak with salt and pepper, tossing to coat evenly.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Add potatoes to boiling water and cook until tender. Sear steak in the skillet with olive oil, 2–3 minutes per side in batches.
