- 8 cups Golden Grahams cereal
- 10 ounces mini marshmallows (about 6 cups)
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
- Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter completely.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly until fully melted and smooth.
- Remove the saucepan from heat to prevent overheating.
- Gently fold in the Golden Grahams cereal until evenly coated.
- Quickly stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, allowing some to melt slightly while others remain whole.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and lightly press into an even layer without compacting too firmly.
- Let cool at room temperature for about 1 hour before slicing into 16 squares.
Notes
- Keep heat low when melting marshmallows to ensure soft and chewy bars.
- Do not press the mixture too firmly into the pan or the bars may become dense.
- Lightly grease your knife before slicing for cleaner cuts.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
