- 1 cup Sweet Pickles, chopped
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves
- 2 large Eggs
- 3/4 cup Evaporated Milk
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 Pie Crust (homemade or store-bought), unbaked
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and place a rack in the middle.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, cinnamon, cloves, eggs, evaporated milk, vanilla, and melted butter until smooth.
- Fold in the chopped pickles gently.
- Fit the unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges.
- Pour the filling into the crust and smooth out the top.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the center is set and the crust is golden.
- Let the pie cool to room temperature before slicing.
- Serve plain or with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
