- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup pecans, roughly chopped and toasted
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Blanch green beans for 2–3 minutes until bright green, then transfer to an ice bath.
- In a small bowl, combine toasted pecans and dried cranberries. Set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in honey until smooth.
- Add blanched green beans to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly with the honey butter glaze.
- Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes until beans are heated through.
- Gently mix in the pecans and cranberries. Toss lightly to combine.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve warm.
