Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup pecans, roughly chopped and toasted
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Blanch green beans for 2–3 minutes until bright green, then transfer to an ice bath.
  2. In a small bowl, combine toasted pecans and dried cranberries. Set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in honey until smooth.
  4. Add blanched green beans to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly with the honey butter glaze.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes until beans are heated through.
  6. Gently mix in the pecans and cranberries. Toss lightly to combine.
  7. Transfer to a serving dish and serve warm.
